How it works

From brief to report in 48 business hours

  1. Step 1

    Product brief

Tell us what you need: technical specifications, estimated volume, target FOB, required certifications and timeline. A reference product or a link helps a lot.

  2. Step 2

    Search at origin

Our agents in Yiwu, Shenzhen and Guangzhou identify 8 to 15 candidate factories on Alibaba, 1688 and local industrial databases, and we filter them by years in operation and certifications.

  3. Step 3

    Operational verification

We check the business license, the ability to export to Ecuador, actual years in business, references from past clients and the supplier's reputation on local Chinese platforms as well as Alibaba.

  4. Step 4

    Virtual or on-site visit

When the case calls for it, we visit the factory and send you photos and video of the production process. On orders over USD 10,000 the on-site visit is included at no extra cost.

  5. Step 5

    Compared quotes

You receive 3 to 5 finalist factories in a side-by-side table with FOB, MOQ, lead time, accepted Incoterms, certifications and payment terms. You decide which one to move forward with.

  6. Step 6

    Report delivery

A complete report in Spanish, with photos, videos when applicable, links to each supplier's profile and the supplier Daleki Trade recommends. We deliver it in 48 business hours.

When it makes sense

When validation pays for itself

  • First import in a new category

Before you commit USD 5,000 or more to a supplier you met online, confirm that the factory exists, operates and exports. Avoid a single fraud and the validation has already paid for itself.

  • Switching suppliers over quality

Your current supplier let you down on the last order and you need verified alternatives to quote the next shipment without starting from scratch.

  • Sourcing on 1688 without speaking Chinese

1688 prices run 20 to 40 percent lower than Alibaba, but the platform works in Chinese. Our agents work on 1688 and translate the entire operation.

  • Better margins on a recurring product

You have been importing from the same supplier for a while and want to see what else is out there. We look for cheaper or higher-quality alternatives so you do not have to.

Pricing

Flat fee from USD 300

The fee depends on the complexity of the product and how hard it is to find suppliers. It is paid once, before the search begins. If you later hire Daleki Trade for managed import, part of that payment is credited toward your first commission.

FAQ

What clients ask before validating a supplier

See all questions

What does Daleki Trade's supplier validation involve?

Supplier validation is a standalone service in which Daleki Trade finds, contacts and vets three to five factories for a specific product, comparing FOB, MOQ, lead time, certifications, years in operation and export references. It costs between USD 300 and USD 800 depending on product complexity and origin, and delivers a report with quotes, factory photos, physical samples (when the client covers shipping) and a recommended supplier. On orders over USD 3,000 it greatly reduces the risk of fraud and poor quality. It is optional: many clients arrive with their supplier already chosen and we handle only the import.

Is it better to buy on 1688 instead of Alibaba?

1688.com prices run 20% to 40% below Alibaba for the same products, because it serves the domestic Chinese market and does not carry the exporter's margin. In exchange, it operates entirely in Chinese, its suppliers rarely speak English, they do not accept Trade Assurance or direct international payments, and MOQs may differ. To buy on 1688 from Ecuador you need a sourcing agent in China to handle communication, payment in RMB and consolidation to the port. Daleki Trade works with agents in Yiwu and Guangzhou who source products on 1688 when the savings justify the agent's margin. For small or irregular orders, Alibaba is still the simpler route.

What happens if the goods arrive defective or wrong?

If the goods arrive defective or do not match what was quoted, the claim runs on two fronts: against the supplier at origin (through Alibaba Trade Assurance or the commercial contract) and against the cargo insurance if the damage happened in transit. Daleki Trade documents the incident with a signed receiving report at the moment of delivery, photographs and a report to the freight forwarder, and supports you through the claim. Returning goods to China is rarely economically viable; the usual path is to negotiate a replacement in the next shipment, a discount on the next order or a credit note. For orders over USD 5,000 we always recommend a pre-shipment inspection (USD 150 to 300), which greatly reduces this risk.
